Clean & Pure

I have been on a hair journey. Last year I coloured my hair back to all brown and I love it. I wanted to be natural and flaunt it. The products I’ve tried along the way have been amazing but I feel like things just still aren’t quit there.

I was influenced by a YouTuber, Sophia Chang about this new Nexxus line. She strives to use clean products and when I saw this I thought it was the perfect transition step to take.

I recently felt like my scalp needed some TLC and since this line had a scalp scrub, I was sold.

I use a small amount of the scalp scrub (enough for the product to travel around my head). I massage it into my head to get rid of any debris. This scrub smells so good by the way.

I then follow with the shampoo, only using about a toonie size of product. I shampoo my hair from the roots to the med-length of my hair. I’ve learned with other products that you do not need a lot for it to start working.

Once that’s rinsed out, I take a small amount of conditioner (about a loonie size) and apply it from the middle of my hair down to my tips. I massage it in and let it sit while I continue on with my shower. It’s the last thing I rinse off before I get out.

I find that my hair is super light weight once it’s dry. It feels like a feather on my head and I love that. It doesn’t feel heavy with product, even after a few without washing it.

And that was my goal…I felt like my hair was feeling very heavy and that my scalp was becoming irritated by something. Since using these 3 products I haven’t scratched my scalp and my hair feels weightless for days.

Also these products smell amazing. It feels like you’re coming out of the salon which I know we all love. If you’re interested in purchasing these Nexxus products, you can find them at your local drug store or on their website. I actually got mine off Amazon.ca for a slightly cheaper price!
