Jetting Off to the West Coast

My first time on the west coast of Canada was spectacular! The air felt so much cleaner, the vibes were positive and laid back and the overall wonderful.

- NORTH VANCOUVER -

Our trip started in North Van. What a lovely suburban area that feels nestled in the forest yet still super close to downtown if you’re looking for that city vibe. I loved waking up in the morning…breathing in the clean mountain air and seeing so many big trees around me. Living in this area makes you want to be active outside all day long. Endless trails and hiking.

Our Air BnB was not too far from a good coffee shop and/or shopping! We spent some time in Kitsilano, Gastown & Downtown Vancouver. All of these neighbourhoods were different in their own ways. I think I vibe with Kitsilano the most. Even though I’m not a surfer gal, I love to paddle board and I love the water and beach.

- VANCOUVER ISLAND -

Our time spent on the island was very relaxing. Our planes unfortunately had to change a little bit and we ended up staying in Dolphin Beach - Nanoose Bay Area. We had a giant house to ourselves with a gorgeous view of the ocean and wild life all around.

- WHISTLER -

Our last few days were spent in Whistler. This was probably my favourite area we travelled to. I LOVED seeing the mountains everywhere we went. All the trees and the clouds. Whistler Village has so much to offer. There’s shopping, excursions, and plenty of food options.

We also made a trip down to Squamish where we got TATTOOS!

Noelle’s studio name is The Lonely Bandit. She currently tattoos out of Grateful Tattoo in Squamish, British Columbia.

This trip was refreshing and it made me enjoy nature even more. I felt so lucky to have been amongst the trees, the water and the mountains. There is an endless amount of trails there and It is something that I really wish I had easy access to where I live. I am happy that I was able to spend this time with family and enjoy our part 2 or our 60/30 trip!
