New Life Routine, Favourite Outfits, Cooking & Big Mirror Selfies

Since being at home all day and everyday, I’ve developed a new easy going routine that I love! If I could work from home everyday and create content with the pay check (or more LOL) I was making I’ll take it! Unfortunately this is not the case and I can’t splurge like I used too (sigh).

None the less I’ve been enjoying my time at home. I’ve been cooking every night, going for walks and wearing my favourite outfits all day (love that for me). In the blog post I’d thought I’d share with you how my days are looking thus far…also so this blog post can break up the amount of food blog posts that will be going up in the future.

New Life Routine

I go to bed whenever I want and I wake up whenever I want. This honestly hasn’t changed for me but I still enjoy the freedom of it. I’m actually going to bed much earlier than I have in years. Pre-qaurantine I usually went to bed past 1:00am. Now during quarantine I’m crashing as early as 10:00pm! Unheard of from me unless I wasn’t feeling well. But I love it.

When I wake up, I typically stay in my bed for a good 30 - 45 minutes scrolling the socials and such. Once I get that out of the way I make myself a nice coffee and some breakfast. I try not to eat a MASSIVE breakfast so I don’t get sleepy right away LOL. If the weather is nice, I’ll go for a walk with my momma. We try to do a nice brisk walk, around 7-8 km. We’re gonna strive for 10 km when the weather is nicer. With all these walks, I’ve been wearing my Apple watch again!

Once we get back from the walk, we go straight into the hot tub! Actually we also just started doing some yoga and stretching after ours walks too. The fresh air feels so good and the hot tub feels even better after the walks.

After that we take our showers and do whatever we need to do! Whether it’s grocery shopping, cleaning, yard work, crafts (we made ourselves some masks recently), etc. I’ve been rewatching The Crown on Netflix with her (my second time and her first time). We’ve been doing some crafts to keep us busy. House work is always a thing to do to kill time and so is yard work LOL. Soon I can add tanning to my to-do list.

We’re always cooking now and so when it comes to dinner, we have it all prepared. After dinner I definitely like to relax by the T.V. and either work on my blog or watch a movie or series (currently also watching Ozark season 3). When I know I’m kinda getting sleepy I head to bed to read some of my book. I’m a super slow reader but whatever. I read until my eyes are shutting and sleep.

Wearing my favourite outfits

My favourite outfit is anything loose/flexible and cozy fabrics. As you can see from my Instagram I love my sweaters, leggings, onesies, etc. I mean it’s not like I’m going anywhere anytime soon LOL. I can’t wait for the weather to get warmer so I can wear dresses and shorts. Even more comfy!

Cooking

I’ve been cooking it up every day! Hence why my blog posts are going to be full of food posts. I love cooking and this is the perfect time for me to try out new recipes. I really do miss eating out though. Recently I’ve made a homemade Hamburger Helper, a shepherds pie made with rice and not mashed, stews, many pastas and so much more. I’m really wanting to make kimchi fired rice so that might happen in the next few weeks.

Big mirror selfies

Since getting my big white mirror I’ve been obsessed with it. It was a goal of mine to get a giant mirror for my new place. I can now take those basic mirror selfies that all bloggers do ♡
