Dalgona Coffee

this is a trend right now! Dalgona coffee a.k.a. Korean coffee is so creamy and refreshing.

To be honest I didn’t think I’d like it! I thought it would be too sweet but you can always add more or less sugar into your mixture. I think it’ll mix the same.

Here’s what you need

Instant coffee

Sugar

Hot water

Milk

Ice

Mixer/Whisk

Here’s what you gotta do

In a medium-large bowl, take equal amounts of coffee, sugar and hot water (I boiled mine in a kettle). I used 2 tbl spoons for each. If you want to make it sweeter…of course you can add more sugar.

The next part is mixing it up. I used a hand held electric mixer. I find it easier than a whisk. Whip up your mixture until it’s creamy and foamy. You’ll notice it changes lighter in colour which is pretty cool.

Choose your favourite glass and add some ice cubes and pour your favourite milk. I used cashew milk for the first time and it was not too bad! Pour as much milk as you want. I eye balled mine and I could of used a little less because I had more coffee mixture than anticipated.

Once you pour your milk, take a spoon and scoop the coffee mixture into you cup. I used the spoon to get that cool whip tip at the top.
