Monthly Favourites | A look back on the month of August and what I loved wearing and using

  1. Reusable silicon baggies - Trying to be more eco friendly. So I decided to pick up some silicon baggies instead of using the thin, plastic ones that don’t typically last more than 1 use.

  2. Buzzee Wraps - On the same note, I also purchased bees wax warp to replace saran wrap/plastic wrap. I love it, it’s durable and reusable. I washes great and keeps items preserved just like plastic wrap does.

  3. Nescafé Gold Espresso - I’ve wanted to cut back on my Starbucks intake. I had found this in my pantry, no idea who bought it or when LOL but I gave it a go and it’s great! I’m not usually one to have instant coffee but this one is amazing. It’s aromatic and the grounds are super soft. I usually drink my coffee black but have recently been adding in almond vanilla creamer to taste.

  4. Cuticle Oil - I’m bad for chewing my nails and skin. I’ve been out of cuticle oil for a while now but just recently bought a new one. Ever since I’ve stop wearing nail extensions, I’ve noticed I’ve been going at my skin more often so I desperately needed to pick one of these up. Mine is from Sally Hanssen and I got it at my local drug store.

  5. Sphere - The book I’m currently reading, Sphere by Michael Crichton, is right up my ally. It has to do with an unfamiliar discovery under water. A UFO? A time machine? A hoax? I’ll soon find out…

  6. Hair Clips - This and scrunchies have been my thing. After posting about my messy bun tutorial, I wanted to get some more '“cutter” clips for my hair. I found these at Anthropologie. They come in many different colour and patterns but I got the tortuous shell and a green jade pattern.

  7. Glossier You Perfume - My new favourite every day perfume. I smells like you but better!

  8. Lazy Outfit - I’m all about the lazy outfit. A loose pair of shorts/bottoms and a classic white tank or tee.
